Lavaca Bay Nursing and Rehabilitation Center

We provide short and long-term skilled nursing care that helps older adults achieve true wellness. We are a non-profit, and that’s an important difference.

Our focus is on strengthening the families and communities we care for. Post-operative care, Wound Care, IV Therapy, and an in-house rehabilitation team are some services that make our facility different. Unlike others who contract their therapists, we have an in-house therapy team. This means our goal is to have patients and residents see the same occupational, speech, or physical therapists daily, which builds a strong line of trust and rapport.

Our Administrator, Eric, showed his appreciation for team members across every department by helping provide school supplies for their children! 📚️✂️🖍️

Partnering with our Activity Director, we launched our “Stuff the Bus” school supply drive to collect donations for backpacks. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who generously donated. 💙

Music, coffee, and great company made for a wonderful afternoon! 🎶☕ This week, Larry Robinson and his band, Gospel Plus, treated residents and patients to a beautiful live performance that filled the room with familiar melodies and joyful moments.

As everyone enjoyed coffee and conversation, their music created the perfect backdrop for an afternoon of relaxation and connection. A huge thank you to Larry and Gospel Plus for stopping by! 🤗

Last week, Raven, our amazing Receptionist, brought her furry friend to visit with residents! 🐾💙

The day was filled with smiles, laughter, and lots of cuddles. Thank you, Raven, for sharing your sweet companion with us, and for creating such a heartwarming experience for residents!
