Port Lavaca Nursing and Rehabilitation Center

We provide short and long-term skilled nursing care that helps older adults achieve true wellness. We are a non-profit, and that’s an important difference.

Our focus is on strengthening the families and communities we care for. Post-operative care, Wound Care, IV Therapy, and an in-house rehabilitation team are some services that make our facility different. Unlike others who contract their therapists, we have an in-house therapy team. This means our goal is to have patients and residents see the same occupational, speech, or physical therapists daily, which builds a strong line of trust and rapport.

🏕️🍫 This week, we brought the campfire fun indoors! In celebration of National S'mores Day, patients and residents enjoyed a fun round of Camping Bingo and delicious S'mores in a Bag! 🔥🎉

It was the perfect way to enjoy a little summer fun together! 💙

🍦🥤 Last week, celebrating National Root Beer Float Day was extra sweet! A big thank you to Brenda with New Century Hospice, for sponsoring a Root Beer Float Bar for our facility to enjoy! They were absolutely delicious! 😋💙

🦽🫧✨ This week, we teamed up with Dorie at Mercy House Victoria for a fun-filled Wheelchair Wash!

Patients and residents had a blast enjoying this unique drive-thru event! Participants also enjoyed fun refreshments, including, snow cones and popcorn! We truly appreciate everyone who helped to make this day so special! 💙
