✨ A Very Special Day at Reimagine AFH Port Orchard ✨

Today, we had the incredible honor of welcoming our **first resident** to Reimagine AFH Port Orchard. 💙

We are so grateful for the trust placed in us to care for your loved one. We understand that making the decision to move into an adult family home, or any care setting can feel overwhelming, emotional, and uncertain. Our goal is to make that transition as comfortable and reassuring as possible—to help each resident feel welcomed, valued, and at home from the moment they walk through our door.

Sometimes, it’s the little things that make a big difference. ❤️

On move-in day, one of the simplest ways we can help ease the transition is by making a favorite meal—a familiar taste that brings comfort and makes a new place feel a little more like home.

Excercise/activities improve the lives of seniors!

Our vision at Reimagine is simple: To improve the lives of seniors through a higher standard of care!

Each day can be filled with moments of meaning and purpose. Meaning and purpose add joy and hope to life. Things like:
1. Asking a client if they would like to bake cookies with the staff.
2. Going on a walk to feel the warmth of the sun on your skin and get fresh air.
3. Learning about a country or a city. Having a week that is focused on a specific country like Italy. That week we need Italian food. There are cards on the tables that have interesting facts about Italy.
4. Sometimes even folding laundry together reminds people of family life. No client has to do it, but some love it. It’s an opportunity to feel like they are still contributing…and indeed they are.
5. For clients who are able and have permission from family…going to the grocery store to buy flowers or plants for the home add joy and meaning!
6. Gardening together!
7. Caregivers who are curious and engage clients in meaningful conversations.
And so much more!!

This is who we are! It’s what we love!

This week we are celebrating Ella Meline!

Ella is currently a CNA at our Puyallup home and was recently accepted into the RN program at Northwest University.

Ella is known for her kindness, honesty, medical professionalism, and wonderful bedside manner! Everyone loves Ella!

Reimagine would like to say a huge CONGRATULATIONS to Ella on her acceptance into the RN program. Well done!

We believe God has great things in store for you!
