Tempestuous Roots

Next weekend’s event line up!

Unless we can find a great event to attend on Saturday, we just might take Samhain off and rest!

Life as a small business owner changes so damn fast. Some steps take years. Some just a few hours.

No matter the step, I take the lesson. And sometimes the lessons are uncomfortable. But let’s be clear. 🙌🏼 Personal AND professional growth require some semblance of discomfort to bring real change. Shadow working is just that. It’s exploring the dark to get back to something that can exist in the light.

This year has been a POWERFUL lesson for me personally and professionally.

Look at these stands. They are going to two very different places to display these products I’ve worked so hard on developing and promoting. They represent two different people who gave me and my company a shot and believe in what I do.

These aren’t just wooden shelves. They represent one of those many steps I must take to get to the light in my life. That light is caring for others while also caring for me and mine, while building a legacy that our children can be proud of.

Love y’all. I am so grateful in this moment. Here I go again. 🤣🥹 Sometimes after a bad experience, you gotta try again. 😘

Ok. So the almonds are fried. 🤣 I need SOME joy.

I just want a cheeseburger. And cheese. And cherry coke. And crackers. And steak. And rotisserie chicken.

Week one is five days in. I DO feel better physically. Mentally, I’m throwing a fit inside and audibly to my family. I just might be able to live 80/20 and carefully curate my meat and cheese intake! Some rules I’ve set for me:
-No cherry coke. 😭😩
-No candy…which I’m not usually bad about but those circus peanuts had me in a chokehold. 😵‍💫🤣
-Veg and fruit have to be the main event. 80% of my meal.
-organic
-2 mini cukes and two kiwis for breakfast DAILY. Gut has to move consistently. Frequently. Prep for my parasite cleanse is crucial.
-ZERO processed meats, snacks, or anything else “easy” to eat, even the vegan replacements. 🤢💀(I do like some impossible nugs mannn)
