If you’ve been calling yourself lazy, unmotivated, or broken please pause for a moment.

What you may actually be experiencing is burnout.

Burnout happens when your nervous system has been under chronic stress for too long. It’s not a failure of discipline, it’s a signal that you need care and support…not criticism.

You don’t need to push harder.
You don’t need more willpower.
You need rest, regulation, and self-compassion.

As a therapist, I see this all the time in high-functioning adults who carry so much without asking for help.
