Hi mamas!
LactaLogics and Healthy Start are partnering on a Florida-based donor milk initiative to help support babies and families in our local communities.
If you are currently pumping and have extra breast milk beyond what your own baby needs, this may be a meaningful way to help. A portion of qualifying donor milk will support families connected to Healthy Start programs, while the remaining milk will help premature infants in NICUs across the country.
LactaLogics is a new human milk nutrition company based in Port St. Lucie, and Healthy Start supports Florida moms, babies, and families through care coordination, education, breastfeeding support, and home visitation.
As part of this initiative, LactaLogics will cover donor screening, shipping, and processing costs for moms selected to move forward.

At the HMI Symposium this week, we got to spend time with Lisa Myers, founder of Ceres Chill

Lisa built her company because she lived the problem. Pumping on the go. Keeping milk cold through a full workday, a commute, a flight. For a lot of moms, safe storage is where the whole thing falls apart.

At LactaLogics, we talk a lot on what happens when milk reaches a baby. But, behind the scenes, we focus on the steps in between, which matter just as much. Safe storage, transport, and handling all play a role in protecting the value of human milk.
