Student athletes can get ready for fall sports with a free pre-concussion baseline screening at Jefferson Healthcare!

Our Rehabilitation team is offering complimentary baseline concussion testing for student athletes before the fall sports season begins. These 15–20 minute assessments provide valuable information that can help guide care if a concussion occurs during the season.

The first of these screening events was a success, and we have three more dates available!

We're pleased to share that four Jefferson Healthcare staff have been selected by the Washington State Department of Health to participate in the Rural Nursing Education Program (RNEP), an innovative workforce development initiative designed to strengthen the nursing workforce in rural communities.

These employees are already serving patients across Jefferson Healthcare in a variety of roles and will now have the opportunity to continue their education while remaining part of the care team:

- Philip Bischof, Surgical Technician
- Segopotso “Elsey” Eaton, Medical Assistant, Oncology
- Corey Siders, Emergency Room Technician

In addition, Shale Shore, LPN with Home Health and Hospice, was selected for the RNEP LPN-to-RN pathway.
