Due to the weather expected this evening, Portage High School has moved its graduation ceremony one hour earlier. As a result, Airport Road will be closed starting at 4:00 PM today instead of 5:00 PM.

💙 Time in the Profession:
Kayla has been grooming for 4 years and loves helping pets look and feel their best.

🐾 Pets at Home:
Kayla shares her home with a black cat named Momo and a Retriever named Heidi.

✨ Favorite Part of Her Job:
Seeing a dog’s complete 180° transformation after a grooming appointment and watching them leave looking fresh, clean, and happy!

🎉 Fun Fact:
Before grooming pets, Kayla worked as a human hairstylist—but she says she much prefers doing dog hair! 🐕💇‍♀️

Due to the Portage High School Graduation, Airport Road will be closed, and Coyne Veterinary Center – Portage will be closing at 4:30 PM tomorrow.

Please plan accordingly for:
🐾 Medication and food pickups
🐾 Daycare drop-offs and pick-ups
🐾 Boarding drop-offs and pick-ups

We encourage clients to allow extra time and make arrangements before the road closure and our early closing time.

🌟 Employee Spotlight: Lily! 🌟

This week we’re shining the spotlight on Lily, one of our amazing Kennel Assistants ! 🐾

Lily has been working in veterinary medicine for almost 2½ years and started her journey in the field at just 17 years old!

When she’s not caring for our boarding guests, she’s busy keeping up with her six cats: Tiger, Kai, Dingo, Ashtray, Kateen and Lnt 🐱🐱🐱🐱🐱🐱

Her favorite part of the job? Seeing how excited our boarders are to reunite with their owners after a long stay. ❤️

Thank you, Lily, for all the care, compassion, and dedication you bring to our patients every day. We’re lucky to have you as part of the Coyne family!
