This full moon has been particularly impactful on me, I found myself demotivated from work or hanging out, and needing to spend a lot of time and deep meditation. So I grabbed my pads of paper and my pens, and I started drawing.

For me, I had so throughly accepted these symptoms as reality and normal as I aged.

It wasn’t until I began learning how to regulate my nervous system and tell when I was activated or not, and then begin building a life that allowed for more stabilization, less survival, more growth and creative expression, and less recovery and defense.

Now I’m gardening a life that allows me to thrive within, and these symptoms slowly are evaporating from my reality.

We can recover fully from complex trauma.

What gives your life meaning?

Today I’m heading off to get one of my tattoos renewed—a reminder that sometimes our purpose isn’t something we find once. It’s something we return to, refine, reclaim, and consciously choose again and again.
