Midsummer is here a time to celebrate Summer Solstice the longest day and the shortest night of the year, starting on June 21st and marking the suns decline in the sky.
This is a powerful combination of the sun at its zenith - fire, dreams, life and magic bursting out not only from the soil, bees, and animal babies but inside you as well.
Consider ways to nurture and grow what is within you already; maybe a dream is coming alive again (breathe on that flame), maybe you’ve given all you have to the needs and desires of others (family, children, a partner, friends) and it is time give fuel to the fire within you, maybe you haven’t dared to dream and the time is ripe to take a dreaming risk and see where that flame leads you.
You might also consider working with a goddess (from where your ancestors came from) Juno (June) the Roman goddess motherhood and childbirth, Vesta the goddess of the hearth (Vestalia was celebrated by the Romans at Summer solstice), Baba Yaga (slavic goddess) calling in your wild spirit, or the goddess I’m bringing into my practice Elen of the Ways a Celtic Pagan goddess of wild, sacred paths and journeys.
We are a part of these cycles of ebbing and flowing, birth and death, scarcity and plenty, we are a part of the rhythms of life on this planet and the more we can engage in these seasonal movements the more we see, the more we feel, the more we know our unique part in the fabric of our world.
