Fall is in the air… and this year, it feels a little different. 🍂❤️
In just a few weeks, both of our boys will head off to the University of Oregon, and just like that… we’ll be empty nesters.
I’m excited for them. So proud of them. And yes—I’ve shed some tears. Maybe more than a few. 🥹
Lately, I’ve found myself soaking in the simplest moments—picking fruit together, laughing, having them home—and thinking about all the memories from the years that somehow went by far too quickly.
There’s something so bittersweet about watching your kids grow into the people you hoped they would become… and realizing that part of loving them is also letting them go.
I know so many moms and dads in our community are feeling this right now too. Maybe you’re sending your first off to college. Maybe your last. Maybe you’re becoming an empty nester like us.
So this post is simply sending a little extra love to all of us navigating this season. ❤️
Here’s to being incredibly proud, a little heartbroken, and deeply grateful—all at the same time.
And to the memories that will forever warm our hearts. 🍎🍂
