Nest Midwifery has been at home with the nature of birth for the last 17 years and was started by Laurie Perron Mednick. As many know, Laurie only has a couple more months as a practicing midwife and then is turning this precious Nest over to the next generation of midwives. This page holds a legacy of so many stories of families Laurie has served beside other midwives. As Nest Midwifery rebrands we've decided to begin an all new social media presence and we want to invite you to follow us at our new Facebook and Instagram. Nest Midwifery has been busy helping big brothers gain access to little sisters 💘💞This big brother was SO excited that “his baby” was coming that he couldn’t sleep as mama labored powerfully at home. Deza Ella was born at 8:05am on her due date (!) weighing 6 #7, and we thought you might find it just as adorable as we did, that he fell asleep snuggling her later on that evening.
Midwife Melissa was so very honored to see this family through all three of their cycles of care and will cherish the next 6 weeks!

Today was one of those graduation 👩‍🎓 ceremonies (final visits) where we all joined in nostalgic reflections and celebrated the time we shared. Thank you for allowing Nest to nurture your transition, dear family! This was our Thanksgiving baby, Madeleine 🦃
