Due to the forecasted weather, this year’s Memorial Day Mass will take place at Holy Cross Church instead of Calvary Cemetery.

Our Portland and South Portland communities have always come together every Memorial Day for over 30 years to honor the brave men and women of our communities. We hope you can join us as we continue this important community event.

Before every Memorial Day weekend, Ralphy makes it a priority to ensure our facilities are looking their very best. From landscaping to the smallest details, it’s a tremendous amount of hard work but he goes all in because he understands how important the setting is when families gather to honor someone they love.

Creating a warm, welcoming, and beautiful environment is part of caring for families, and Ralphy takes great pride in that responsibility.

Being Portland’s only locally and family-owned Funeral Home means we are committed to our community. Today, our team had the pleasure of hosting a hot dog lunch ahead of Memorial Day for the students and faculty at St. Brigid School - Portland, Maine.

It was a simple but meaningful way to spend time with some great kids, wonderful teachers, and a community we’re proud to be part of every day.

As Memorial Day Weekend approaches, we’re reminded that the holiday is about much more than the unofficial start of summer. It’s a time to honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country - and to appreciate the communities they fought to protect.
