this is a very good point. I don’t like the phrase deep belly breaths anymore. Taking belly breaths does not mean the breath is initiated by the belly muscles. With diaphragm breathing the diaphragm moves down which pushes out the belly but also expands the rib cage in nearly a 360 degree movement.
