💛 Where Are They Now? Meet East West Alum Jay Williams! 👐

Sometimes one class can change the way you see your work — and where your career takes you. ✨

For Jay Williams, BS, LMT, BCSI, that class was Structural Bodywork at East West College.

After graduating in 2021, Jay returned to take the Structural Bodywork elective, where he discovered a new way of understanding the body — looking beyond individual muscles and symptoms to explore how structure, movement, and the body's systems work together.

That experience sparked a deeper interest in Structural Integration and helped shape the direction of his career. 🌱

Today, Jay has built a private practice in Oregon City, completed advanced Structural Integration training, taught at East West, and helped establish the Inner Dynamics Alliance for Structural Integration (IDA-SI), a nonprofit working to expand access to Structural Integration education and services.

💛 The Fall Student Clinic schedule is here! 👐🍂

East West College’s Student Massage Clinic opens for the fall term on October 6, with appointments available through December 17.

Student massage appointments are a great way to receive affordable bodywork while giving our students valuable hands-on experience working with clients. ✨

💆 45-minute massage — $45
🎓 $40 with valid student, senior or military ID

A variety of appointment times are available Monday–Thursday, with daytime and evening options.

Adding insurance as a payment option can create new opportunities for your practice — but first, you need to understand the credentialing, coding, forms, and billing processes behind it.

This October, Nicole Sime, LMT, is teaching two courses designed to help you navigate the administrative side of working with insurance:

Learn the forms, procedure codes, and diagnosis codes needed to begin billing insurance claims for motor vehicle accidents and private health insurance.

🧾 Introduction to Insurance Billing & Coding
📅 Sunday, October 11 | 9:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.

Get a detailed walkthrough of the credentialing process, including completing a credentialing application and creating a CAQH profile.
