Kira Rodenbush's connection to East West didn't end at graduation.

After leaving the program, she continued building her path through practice, curiosity, and a deepening study of Ayurveda. Over time, that journey brought her back to East West—this time as an instructor.

Today, Kira shares her experience, insight, and passion for Ayurvedic Massage with students exploring new ways to support the body, mind, and spirit through massage therapy.

Her story is a reminder that graduation isn't the end of the journey—it's often just the beginning. ✨

Massage therapy can be an isolating profession. Hands & Minds was created as a space for Oregon massage therapists to reconnect, collaborate, and learn from one another — not through formal instruction, but through shared experience 👐

Organized by AMTA-Oregon and hosted at East West College, this peer-to-peer bodywork exchange brings together therapists of all experience levels to:
🤲 Share techniques and ideas
🧠 Talk through clinical puzzles
🤝 Build professional community
💆 Learn from real-world practice

There are no instructors, presentations, or lesson plans — just massage therapists gathering to exchange what they’ve actually figured out along the way.
