Penny the pup recently stopped by Emerald Gardens Assisted & Memory Care, making fast friends and bringing plenty of smiles along the way. Residents enjoyed spending time with her, and she soaked up all the attention she could get.

Last week’s Senior Health & Fitness Day at Farmington Square Beaverton was a great reminder that healthy choices can be just as delicious as they are nourishing.

Residents enjoyed a variety of wholesome snacks, including Honeycrisp apples, blueberries, raisins, unsalted almonds and cashews, and veggie chips cooked in avocado oil. IL and Linda especially loved sampling all the options while picking up a few tips on smarter snacking along the way.

Our activities team at Pioneer Village Independent and Assisted Living has been testing out new tabletop games in their dining room, and this one officially earned a spot on the favorites list.

Residents bounced balls across the table, aiming for colorful buckets in our own creative take on Skee-ball. Simple idea, lots of fun, and plenty of friendly competition.
