Cherrywood Village celebrated the tail end of Lunar New Year with a lantern festival. The residents helped make lanterns and ate traditional new year foods. There was a cultural presentation and a game of Korean New Year Bingo with prizes like red envelopes with coins and lucky bamboo plants.
Earlier in week, several residents enjoyed an excursion to the Oregon Historical Society! It was a great informative trip. We were greeted by the Executive Director and the staff were incredibly accommodating. Plus, we learned the museum is free to Multnomah County residents.
