Instead of asking "is this right or wrong," we can get curious and ask a different question: do I need more experiential evidence to know whether this is a good contribution to me? π§
Discernment then tells you what's true right now, not a permanent rule to live by, and not a danger sign posted at the edge of the unknown.
Discernment in shamanic journeying is usually taught as a filter for right and wrong, what's safe, what's harmful, what to trust, and what to dismiss. That works when you have all the information.
