Julia's path to this work started with her own diagnosis!

Julia didn't set out to specialize in neurodivergent care. It found her. It started when her wife suggested she might want to look into ADHD and autism.

That conversation led to her own assessment, her own diagnosis, and a complete shift in how she understood her life up to that point.

She'd already been a nurse practitioner. She'd already cared about doing right by her patients. But after her own experience, she saw how much the healthcare system was missing for people like her.

So she pursued specialized training in ADHD and autism assessments, ADHD medication management, gender-affirming hormone care, and KAP.

Now she brings both clinical expertise and the kind of knowing that only comes from sitting in that same chair.

She builds furniture in her spare time, has attempted the trombone, and brings that same hands-on curiosity to every appointment.

Pride Month is a reminder that you are not too much, not too different, and never alone.

At ELTC, we see you - all of you. Whether you're out and proud, quietly questioning, or somewhere beautifully in between, this space was built with you in mind.

We celebrate you not just in June, but every single day🌈

What if your therapist understood because she'd been there?

You know that moment in therapy when you're trying to explain something and you can see your therapist listening, nodding, but not quite landing?

Jennifer knows that gap.

She grew up as a sensitive, neurodivergent kid in a chaotic environment.
She spent years believing something was fundamentally wrong with her before finding out there wasn't. That experience shapes how she shows up in the room.

She uses EMDR, Brainspotting, IFS, NARM, and somatic therapies because she knows firsthand that healing isn't just a thinking process. It lives in the body, in the nervous system, in the parts of you that words alone can't reach.

She built ELTC for q***r, neurodivergent, and late-identified adults who are done shrinking. If you've spent your life making yourself smaller to keep things manageable, she gets it. Not from a textbook. From the inside.

A lot of us learned early on that our bodies weren't safe places to be.

So we moved into our heads, analyzing, planning, controlling, and lost touch with what our bodies were telling us.

Somatic Therapy gently helps you come back. Not all at once. Not in overwhelming ways.

Just slowly reconnecting with the sensations, signals, and wisdom your body has been holding onto, maybe for a very long time.

You don't have to have it all figured out. You just have to be willing to listen.

What Does "Neurodivergent-Affirming" Mean in Practice?

You've probably seen the phrase everywhere. Here's what it looks like when a practice is built around it.

At ELTC, we view ADHD and autism as natural neurological differences that come with real strengths and real challenges. Our care is designed around that belief, not added on top of a traditional model.

In practice, that means:
→ Assessments built for high-masking, late-identified adults, not childhood checklists repurposed for grown-ups.
→ Therapy that explores identity, sensory needs, executive function, and relationships from a strengths-based lens.
→ Medication management that honors your individual neurological profile instead of following a one-size-fits-all protocol.
→ Community groups where you don't have to translate your experience to belong.
→ Providers who are neurodivergent themselves, bringing lived experience alongside clinical training. This philosophy shapes every service we offer.

She gets it, because she's lived it🌿

Jennifer didn't come to this work from a textbook alone. She came to it from her own life. Growing up as a sensitive, neurodivergent kid in a chaotic environment, she learned early what it felt like to carry too much, people-please to stay safe, and believe something was fundamentally wrong with her. Finding out there wasn't?

That changed everything. Now she helps others walk that same path, from surviving to actually living.

From managing yourself to inhabiting yourself.

You don't need a therapist who just understands the theory.
You deserve one who understands the feeling.

Your brain isn't the problem. The framework was.

You've spent a lifetime hearing that something is wrong with you, that you need to try harder, be more consistent, stay focused, fit in.

What if the problem was never your brain? What if it was the framework everyone tried to squeeze you into?

ELTC is grounded in the neurodiversity paradigm: neurological differences like ADHD and autism are natural variations of the human experience. Differences. Full stop.

That shift changes the question from "what's wrong with me?" to "what do I need to thrive?" Every service we offer, from assessments and therapy to medication management and community, is built to help you answer that.

You don't need to be repaired. You need care that was designed for your brain.

Wondering If You Might Be Neurodivergent?

Maybe someone in your life suggested it.
Maybe you saw something online that hit a little too close to home.
Maybe you've just always felt like you were working harder than everyone else to do things that seemed effortless for them.

Wherever you are in that process, Julia is here for it. She offers ADHD and autism assessments for adults in a way that's thorough, affirming, and grounded in real understanding, not just checklists.

She's also neurodivergent herself, so she brings both professional expertise and the kind of knowing that comes from lived experience.

You don't need to be sure before you reach out. That's what the conversation is for.

You Don't Have to Know What You Need Yet💜

Maybe you just got diagnosed and you're still processing what it means.
Maybe you suspect you're neurodivergent but you're not ready to pursue a formal assessment.
Maybe you've known for years and you're only now looking for support that fits.

Wherever you are, that's a valid starting point. ELTC offers a full range of neurodivergent-affirming services, and they don't all require the same level of readiness.

You might start with a community group to connect with people who get it.
You might explore an identity assessment without needing formal documentation. You might want therapy that takes your neurodivergence into account instead of working around it.

There's no right door. No prerequisite.

You just have to be willing to show up as you are, and we'll figure out the rest together.
