Pax (they/he) is a graduate of East West College of the Healing Arts, offering sessions that range from focused deep tissue work to gentle, nervous system–supportive care. Their approach blends Swedish massage, neuromuscular techniques, craniosacral therapy, and breath awareness—creating sessions that meet you exactly where you are. 🌿

Clients often share that they feel heard before they even have to ask. Pax brings a deeply attuned, thoughtful presence shaped by years of hands-on care as a hair stylist, childcare provider, and advocate.

They are passionate about creating a space where all bodies feel safe, seen, and supported, and are especially committed to providing affirming care for people of all genders, including the transgender community.

We’re so excited to welcome Mitchy to Winding Willow!

Mitchy practices Deep Tissue and Swedish massage, with inspiration from Craniosacral and Structural Integration therapies. His approach is grounded in both skill and lived experience — having spent much of his life as a landscaper and touring musician, he understands the real impact physical work and less-than-ideal conditions can have on the body.

As a parent of two young children, Mitchy also deeply values the importance of slowing down, creating quiet space, and making time for self-care.

He strives to create a safe, supportive environment where clients can connect with the wisdom of their bodies. Mitchy welcomes open communication, honoring your needs and boundaries to support a sense of ease, release, and restoration. 🌿

Exciting News! Join us for our brand-new Group Acupuncture sessions every 1st Sunday of the month starting February 1st, 2026!

It's available to book now.

Experience the healing benefits of acupuncture in a supportive and communal environment while connecting with others on their wellness journeys.

Did you lose your health coverage? Did your insurance drop acupuncture as a benefit? Maybe the premiums for 2026 where to high to include acupuncture in your plan. Is your deductible out of reach? Or maybe you know someone else who has experienced some of these changes. These are just few reason's Group Acupuncture is an option.

We are excited to announce that Winding Willow Acupuncture & Wellness is introducing a new sliding scale pricing model for our group setting acupuncture sessions on Sundays. Allowing you to choose a session fee between $35 and $65 based on your financial needs! We believe that everyone deserves access to healing and wellness, and this new structure is designed to make our services more accessible for all. Whether you're looking to alleviate stress, manage pain, or simply find a moment of relaxation, we're here to support your journey towards better health.

Our group treatment sessions will take place in a chair in an open room, to keep it affordable. Whether you're struggling with headaches, migraines, stress, anxiety, sleep troubles, menopause symptoms, or digestive issues, our experienced practitioners are here to guide you through targeted acupuncture treatments tailored to your needs. In addition to addressing these common health challenges, our group sessions can additionally focus on chronic pain management, including neck and shoulder pain, muscle aches, tennis elbow, arthritis, and more. Many individuals see improvements in conditions such as sinusitis, the common cold, asthma, and allergies through acupuncture. Join us in this communal setting to enhance your wellness journey, and discover the transformative power of acupuncture. We look forward to helping you achieve your health goals at an affordable price point and in a supportive group atmosphere!

A Little Self-Love Goes a Long Way

The holidays can be beautiful… and overwhelming.
In these last few years—full of change, pressure, and nonstop noise—our nervous systems have been working overtime. Many of us show up for everyone else but forget to offer even a moment of care to ourselves.

That’s where tiny acts of self-love matter.
They regulate. They soften. They remind your body that you are safe and held.

One of my favorite simple tools is a gentle self-hug that stimulates the acupuncture point SP-21 (Great Embrace) — a point often used to soothe the chest, calm the spirit, and create a feeling of containment when emotions feel big.

How to do it:
Wrap your arms around yourself like you’re giving a hug. Your hands naturally land near SP-21, on the sides of the ribcage. Hold there with light pressure and slow breaths.
Stay for 30–60 seconds and notice the shift.

It seems small, but these micro-moments of care accumulate. In a season where many people feel stretched thin, this is your reminder: you deserve gentleness, grounding, and your own embrace.

Take a breath.
Take a moment.
Take care of you.
