I’ve been reflecting a lot on how to describe my massage style. I like to work in that sweet spot where we are working tension out and reducing pain while also getting into a deep relaxing state. I feel like relaxation is often underrated when it comes to massage. We live in a world where we are so stuck in “fight or flight” that we forget how powerful it is to activate the parasympathetic “rest and repair” nervous system. That’s also why I love incorporating multiple modalities like Swedish, deep tissue, and passive stretching to really customize each session for each person. And I’m always learning new modalities so I’m constantly gaining new tricks to keep up my sleeve. I am so grateful to get to do this work and I’m so grateful to you, the community that supports me. It’s so important to take care of ourselves and each other. ❤️🔥
