We’ve joined forces and have combined my popular Narrative Exposure Therapy training with her class, Telling the Untold Story, on effectively eliciting client trauma narratives. It’s a very comprehensive and thorough approach to directly processing clients’ traumatic memories, so if you are looking for that, we’d love to see some of you there! Keystone Commons: we are a group of radical, q***r, trans/non-binary mental health providers who are looking for folks who want to do in person work in mental health/healthcare. Our clients are still mostly online so we are hoping to connect with like-minded practitioners who need an in person space for clients (or perhaps you are tired of working from home!?). We love supporting each other, we love sharing snacks, and we love not working from home! We have parking, the building is secure, excellent wifi, mostly accessible space, 5 bathrooms, a kitchen, a patio, and a large space for groups, community acupuncture, or meetings. NET and LI are just two of many possible trauma processing modalities clinicians can use to help their clients effectively work through trauma.

Dr. K Hixson will share some basics about NET. Dr. Hixson is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Clinical Supervisor, and continuing education trainer living in Portland, Oregon. They have been in the field for 20 years and have been using NET for the last 10 years after learning several other approaches to trauma treatment.

Sarah D***s is a Professional Counselor Associate (MS, NCC) in Portland, Oregon. She was first introduced to LifeSpan Integration as a client and was deeply drawn to the healing science and efficacy of LifeSpan Integration, created by Peggy Pace, using “timelines.” She is now a Trained LifeSpan Integration Therapist and uses LI widely in her practice as an intervention for trauma, healing in life, and all that comes with it.

Looking for an affordable way to process trauma with your clients? I've just scheduled a Narrative Exposure Therapy training for June 2022! I love teaching this modality and supporting clinicians in doing high quality exposure work in an accessible way.
