It’s School Nurse Day and National Nurses Week!

School Nurse Day is celebrated on the Wednesday of National Nurses Week, which this year is May 6-12. School nurses are registered nurses working in a school, district or Education Service District, whose primary role supports daily student care and/or health services programs. Oregon’s school nurses are critical to improving the health and learning of students.

To every nurse supporting Oregon students and schools, your hard work and dedication are seen and valued. Thank you for all you do!
