Sasha is heavily involved in political action in Oregon, advocating for private practice protection, insurance compliance, strategy, and the PT practice act.

This weekend she presented at the Oregon Private Practice conference, a collaboration between .oregon and OPTIP (Oregon Physical Therapists in Private Practice) alongside our lobbyist Taylor Sarman and Senator Patterson and Representative Nosse

A day of collaboration, learning and fellowship amongst like minded physical therapists in private practice.

The past three months Erick Alvarado, sDPT, from the University of Utah physical therapy program, has been in the house completing his final internship under the clinical instruction of Keldon Lou, PT , DPT, SCS .

Erick not only brought strong entry level skills, but also the rapport and innate sense of engagement of patients and staff alike that one can’t teach. It’s been a pleasure having him and we wish him the best on his upcoming board exam.

And…perhaps we may be seeing more of Erick in the future!?!? 🤔

🥉 Bronze Medalist! Huge congrats to Oregon native Jacqueline Wiles for her performance at the 2026 Cortina Olympics 🇺🇸 ⛷️

Jacqueline (downhill) and teammate Paula Moltzan (slalom) competed in the Olympic Alpine Team Combined, earning the podium position.

She also had a career best Olympic Alpine Downhill 4th place finish only 0.28 seconds off the podium.

She has another Olympic race on Thursday for Super G.

Jacqueline and Sasha met in 2014 after the Sochi Olympics, and sought Sasha out for treatment prior to the 2018 Olympics. Jacqueline and Sasha worked extensively together after her major knee injury, in collaboration with the US Ski Team and US Olympic Team

Jacqueline has incredible grit and went about her comeback the right way putting in a tremendous about of work, tenacity and determination.

Sasha and the rest of the team at Rose City Physical Therapy are incredibly happy for her!!

Heading to the Olympics once again! ⛷️ Apropos to shout out Jacqueline Wiles on this National Girls and Women in Sports Day. Multi-World World Champion and Olympics competitor and right back at it again this year, representing Team USA in the Winter Olympics in Cortina, Italy.
