Back by popular demand! Our Parent Support Groups are returning with our new schedule through the rest of the year:

✨ Our Monday circle at Laurelhurst Park will move inside the Dance Studio starting September 14th.

✨ Our virtual Tuesday groups will continue their schedules, but we have switched platforms to Google Meet.

✨ Our Wednesday circle has moved inside to Sellwood Community House and will run September 9th till Dec. 19th minus Thanksgiving week.

✨ We are starting a new in person Nurturing Circle on Fridays starting September 11th! Located at Alma Midwifery, this group will be co-hosted by Bridgetown Baby lactation consultants and Jewell Chiropractic. Each week will look a little different, so check back here for the topic of the week!

World Breastfeeding Week has a theme this year that we love:

Prioritize Breastfeeding — Create Sustainable Support Systems

It's such a good reminder that breastfeeding was never meant to be a solo act of willpower. It's a practice held up by partners who bring water and patience at 3am, by lactation consultants who show up with both expertise and a steady hand, by postpartum doulas who hold the household together so parents can focus on establishing this most important of acts… feeding their newborn.

Whether this is your first and you want to know what to expect, or feeding didn’t go as planned with your previous baby, your IBCLC will take the time to understand your unique goals and make a plan so you walk into the feeding journey with confidence.

Having support can make all the difference in how you experience your postpartum. Talk with other parents who understand, and learn from experienced Postpartum Doulas and Lactation Consultants.

We have in person classes as well as online for those days when leaving the house feels like too much. Whatever stage you are at in your parenting journey, there’s a place for you.

This Summer, join us for Free Tummy Time Classes in the park!

Group offers conversation and connection around the ups and downs of the postpartum year while learning a new skill and making new friends. For babies and their caregivers, from the prenatal period through 12 months of age.

Every Monday 10:00am -11:30am @ Laurelhurst Park Dance Studio

Every Wednesday, 9:30am-10:30am @ Sellwood Park Shack.

No cost, open to all families.

Co-hosted by Bridgetown Baby & Sellwood Community House
