Jason's bio:

"As members of the LGBTQ2SIA+ community, we face unique challenges. A world in turmoil leaves us with precious little time, energy, and resources for our own internal health. I believe that in times such as these, and now more than ever, the strength we need as individuals and as a community can be found through our connections. In my capacity as an associate therapist, I seek to provide the professional, therapeutic side of those connections in an attempt to foster the long-term well-being of our community and the individuals that make it the beautiful, vibrant entity it is.

In my practice, I utilize a combination of techniques such as CBT and the psychodynamic approach that provide clients with tools they can use to counter problems in their daily lives while working towards addressing the deeper roots of the parts of our lives and selves we seek to change. My practice, along with my most recent and intensive studies, focuses on how the social, political, and physical environments around us affect our mental health, the interconnected nature of past trauma and future experiences, and the intersectionality that so many of us experience...

I identify as a pansexual cisgender male, and as someone who has been living with HIV prior to the advent of modern medications, one who has lived experience with chronic health issues and facing a seemingly bleak future. My life, experiences, and training have given me insights and wisdom on subjects and issues ranging from adverse childhood experiences, religious trauma, medical trauma, and finding hope again after it feels as if all has faded away.

I believe, no matter where you find yourself as you read these last few lines, that the beautiful, fulfilling life and existence you have always deserved awaits you. Whether it is a change in perspective that stands between yourself and your goals or what seem like insurmountable odds, I would be honored and humbled to have the opportunity to support you in your journey and help turn what may feel impossible into a lived reality."

Join us in welcoming Lucina to the team! Lucina is an awesome QMHP and we are so excited she's joined us at Full Spectrum.

"My name is Lucina Chapman. My focus is to work with clients to adjust our session and technique to address clients’ goals, challenges, accomplishments, and needs in an open safe environment aiming to improve your everyday life. As a white q***r polyamous transgender woman I seek to aid the q***r community and others in surviving, living, and thriving no matter what the world throws at them.

To aid in your journey, I will provide techniques and aspects from mindfulness, trauma informed care, skill building, and an intersectionality perspective, with styles of therapy like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Person Centered Therapy.

Every client is different and faces aspects of their lives in a different way that should be acknowledged, which is why it's important to me to work with clients where they are. We will develop plans and address any changes that come up together. That way sessions can be open to discuss a wide array of areas that you want to discuss and explore. This can include things like gender, q***rness, relationships, polyamory, life transitions, one's environment, systems, fears, hopes, dreams, and special interests in relation to one's mental health and or potential helpful resources.

I enjoy filling my life with things like cosplay, magic tricks, hypnosis, philosophy, table top games, card games, as well as spooky cute things like bats, snakes with witch hats, preserved flower crowns, haunted board games, and living life as if halloween/twilight zone was only an hour away."

"Distress can present in many ways depending on our identities and the systems we grew up in, are forced into, and interact with daily. Understanding this is the first step to taking agency over our mental health and the decisions that we can take to create change. Throughout my graduate studies at NYU Steinhardt and time working with clients, I strive to maintain a foundation of cultural humility and consideration through utilization of narrative therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, emotionally focused therapy, and other modalities that allow me to create an eclectic, person-centered approach that recognizes you as the expert of your experience while promoting an egalitarian framework for care.

I have experience working with individuals experiencing grief, anxiety, depression, and various forms of trauma. Whenever working with specific topics, I hold the perspective that as humans, we hold experiences based off of ones we have had throughout our lives. With this in mind, we can begin to recognize the meaning of behaviors, thoughts, and emotions, to gain clarity on why we are the way we are while creating a unique space to move towards the life we want to have.

There are various systems that historically marginalize, pathologize, and discriminate against marginalized populations (including but not limited to healthcare), especially the LGBTQIA+ community. Therefore, entering a therapeutic space can be daunting and often heighten stress and uncertainty. As a white, bisexual, cisgender man, I recognize the privileges I experience and the acute awareness that must be held when exploring systemic challenges for individuals of all intersectionalities. I want to offer a haven to explore the impact of these dynamics at your pace through values of safety, empowerment, humility, and responsibility. Wherever the journey takes us, I prioritize these values at the heart of my therapeutic work, and with that, strive to be a clinician who embraces them to their fullest."

xyloh and Jason's smiles say it all! Our 3rd annual gender affirming clothing closet (also known as our gender euphoria clothing closet) at Pride was a huge success. Thank you to each and every one of you who came out to browse, snag some great finds, and just to meet us. Thank you also to our incredible team who sorted and organized clothing and accessories, staffed our booth, and engaged with our awesome community. Of course, we must offer a very special thank you to for once again hosting our donation bin in their amazing space, and supporting this effort with such sincerity and kindness. Please support them (and enjoy their amazing coffee). We are also immensely grateful to for the incredibly generous donation of gender-affirming supplies. What a weekend, and what a joy to do this work!

Sam just picked up this awesome collection of gender-affirming gear for our Gender-Affirming Pop-Up Closet! 🏳️‍⚧️

A huge thank you to McMinnville Trans Network (MTN) for donating these items, and to Ames Bierly and Bierly Brewing for their ongoing support of our community.

We’re proud to support MTN as well—each year, Full Spectrum Therapy donates proceeds from our trans pride flag sales, along with an additional contribution, back to MTN to help continue this important work.

Community supporting community!!!!
