I wrote this song yesterday morning, sleepy eyed in my tent after celebrating my 43rd birthday with a wonderful group of friends in the forest.

Maybe one day I’ll sing it here but for now, I’m feeling called to share the lyrics so you can have a little insight to who I am, my values and the way I show up in service to my greater community 🤍

I am warrior, heart so kind.
Tender handed and witty, pushing through these hard times.

I am a mother, daily acts of devotion
Raining love on my children, heartbeat in motion.

I am a daughter, seeking love and validation.
Unwinding the programming, unraveling trepidation.

I am a sister, surrounded by the divine.
Birthing relationships, with every step I find.

I am a healer, daily choices aligned.
Shining light on what’s possible, with this reality of mine.

I am a friend, bleeding so heart so true.
Finding reverence in relationships, reciprocity for me and you.

I am dancer, graceful, long and stumbling.
Weaving emotion, with every step I am blossoming.

I am a singer, voice birthing each day.
Learning to use my life and be comfortable taking up space

I am a survivor, past sprinkled with pain.
Composting these experiences, to begin again.

I am a lover, of all that’s beautiful and true.
Show up for me, and I’ll devour you.

I am a leader, stepping into my power.
True north of service, connection, trust and integrity.

I am human, constellations of complication.
Learning to trust the lessons, and let the stars guide the way.

Thank you for loving me, I promise to show up for you.
Let’s live in harmony, and create magic in all we do.

These foods are part of my regular rotation because gut health is IMPERATIVE for overall health

and….food is medicine.

Consistently making choices that support the right microbes and a healthy, non-inflamed environment for your gut will provide you with tremendous payoff throughout your life.

Beans (and other legumes) — one of the best sources of fiber for your microbiome. Soaked + pressure-cooked digest best.

Kiwi — contains actinidin, an enzyme that helps digestion, plus FOS fiber. Also a natural (and gentle) laxative if you tend to get backed up.

Garlic — a prebiotic that feeds beneficial strains like Bifidobacterium, plus allicin, which supports your gut lining and lowers inflammation.

Gelatin — real gelatin (not the boxed stuff) supplies collagen and amino acids that help support your gut lining.

Fermented foods — live, probiotic-rich foods that increase microbial diversity. Can’t tolerate them? Could be a sign of histamine intolerance and that’s worth digging into.

Broccoli sprouts — rich in sulforaphane, which activates your body’s own detox and defense enzymes. A small food with a big role in hormones, gut lining, and detox.

Do you love these foods too? Which ones are your favorite?

If you’re dealing with ongoing gut issues, I’d love to help you get to the root cause. Link in bio to schedule a 1:1

There has never been more information available about how to be healthy.

And somehow, it’s made taking care of ourselves feel more complicated than ever.

We’re constantly bombarded with different protocols, opinions, diets, supplements, routines and advice…and they can often contradicting each other!

I want to simplify it.

No matter what your health goal is, I believe meaningful change comes down to three critical steps:

1. Choose yourself.
Decide that your health, your body and the way you want to feel are worth prioritizing.

2. Identify what’s standing in the way.
Get curious about the obstacles between where you are and where you want to be…physically, physiologically, emotionally and practically.

3. Commit to the daily practice.
Health isn’t created by one perfect decision or protocol. It’s built through the choices you make consistently, over time.

There will always be another opinion, another expert and another “right” way to do it.

You don’t need to do everything.

You need clarity about what matters for you and the willingness to keep choosing it.

If you’re ready to commit to step 1, I can help guide you through the rest.

One of the greatest gifts you can give your baby isn’t just nutrients - can you guess what it is?

During pregnancy, birth, and breastfeeding, you’re helping build your baby’s first !

There is a critical window of opportunity known as the first 1000 days that includes pregnancy and the first 2 years of life where a baby’s microbiome is influencing immune development, gut health, skin health, and even metabolic health later in life.

Pregnancy Support probiotic is an example of a trimester specific pregnancy supplement I will recommend to patients as it supports so many common concerns in pregnancy and postpartum.

1. It supports a healthy vaginal microbiome in pregnancy which is important for mom’s comfort but also these are the bacteria new born babies are exposed to first with a vaginal birth!
2. It helps seed the baby’s gut microbiome with Bifidobacterium infantis which is one of the first organisms that colonizes a baby’s gut and helps treat down HMO’s (human milk oligosaccharides). Higher levels of of this bacteria in babies are associated with less leaky gut, greater immune healthy, lower inflammation and better stool patterns
3. The LGG is a it is one of the most studied probiotics in the world which show when mothers take in late pregnancy and continue in early postpartum while breastfeeding, children have a a lower risk of atopic conditions like eczema, allergies and asthma.

Most people do best with individualize protocols but this is an example of pregnancy specific recommendation that most prenatal care teams are not considering to optimize mom and baby’s health during one of the most critical time in their lives!

If you’ve ever heard me talk about stool testing, you’ve probably heard me mention BiomeFX.

Why?

Because not all microbiome testing is created equal.

Many stool tests use technology that estimates what’s living in the gut. BiomeFX uses whole genome sequencing, meaning we can identify microbes with much greater precision instead of making educated guesses based on small snippets of DNA.

That matters because your influences everything from , , and to , , function, inflammation, skin health, , and brain function.

What makes BiomeFX even more exciting is its integration with JONA AI, which continuously analyzes emerging microbiome research and helps translate your unique results into personalized recommendations based on the latest science.

The microbiome is one of the fastest-evolving fields in medicine. New discoveries are being made every month. I love using tools that allow us to stay at the cutting edge while creating recommendations tailored to the individual sitting in front of me.

Now I believe there is a balance and place for both - conventional doctors are great at urgent/emergent care. But for chronic, inflammatory, metabolic, immune, GI or hormonal concerns you should work with me.

PRESENCE is my word for 2026.

I’m highly ambitious, adventurous, and social and I have a long history of overfilling my life. I move fast, text quickly ——— but for the past two years I’ve been repeatedly called to slow down.

I see it in health imbalances that can only really be explained by stress.
I see it in relationships, when I’m in task mode instead of truly checking in and connecting.
I see it in the costly reminders like tickets from being on my phone, rushing through moments, not fully paying attention.

And I see it most clearly in my struggle to fully drop in with my kids, offering them my complete presence without multitasking, distraction, or a mind already on the next thing.

These moments alone would be enough reason to change, but I also know this: when I slow down, everything benefits. Stress is the number one contributor to the health issues I see in my practice, and the ripple effects are everywhere….no energy, no time, no space to care for mental, emotional, and physical health.

So I’m choosing presence.
Putting the phone down.
Chewing slowly.
Driving attentively.
Listening fully.
Letting moments be moments.

Who wants to join me in 2026 in prioritizing slowing down? Really savoring the most important and valuable parts of our lives, which are almost always the people in them.

Sharing a few tender photos captured earlier this year in our home, with the most important people in my life 🤍
