✨ Champion of Change ✨

We’re proud to highlight Thornton Taylor, one of our dedicated team members and share a little about the passion and purpose that drives his work each day.

💙 What inspired you to join the field of addiction treatment?

“My inspiration to join the field of addiction treatment comes from lived experience and seeing firsthand the pain addiction causes, but also the hope recovery can bring. After overcoming my own challenges, I felt called to help others find healing, purpose, and a second chance, using my story to support and empower people on their recovery journey.”

💙 What’s your favorite part of working here?

“My favorite part of working here is having the opportunity to support people as they grow, heal, and move forward in their lives. Being able to encourage hope, celebrate progress, and work alongside a team committed to helping others makes the work especially meaningful.”

💙 What’s one thing you’ve learned from our patients/clients?

“One thing I’ve learned from the people we serve is that healing and recovery are deeply personal, and everyone’s journey is unique. I’ve also seen how much strength and determination people carry, especially when they feel supported, understood, and allowed to grow.”

💙 How do you recharge outside of work?

“Outside of work, I recharge by staying active and making exercise a priority. Physical activity helps me clear my mind, manage stress, and stay grounded so I can show up at my best both personally and professionally. I also value time for reflection and staying connected to things that support overall wellness.”

🎉 Fun Fact:
“I enjoy finding creative ways to turn challenges into opportunities for growth.”

Thank you for your dedication, compassion, and commitment to helping others find hope and healing. We’re grateful to have you on the team!
