OUR SUMMER PLACE, INC philosophy is based on the belief that individuals are to be treated with dignity, respect, love, and support. The focus of our services will be to enhance the life skills of each individual. We believe that it is inherently important to advocate for our Individuals by making cont

inuous effort to educate the general public away from the typical stereotypes that have been developed about individuals with disabilities. We also believe that it is our duty to support each individual in becoming a valued member of his or her community. The program uses the person centered planning approach, and various individualized assessment tools, training, staff support and supervision in supporting each individual enhance their knowledge, skills and abilities for more independent community living.
