The Scioto County Health Department's Vaccine Clinic and Vital Statistics department (birth/death records) will be closing today 12:30 due to meetings. Both departments will open at 8:30 am tomorrow morning. If you need an Ohio Birth Certificate or Ohio Death Certificate today you can visit the Portsmouth City Health Department. Thank you and sorry for any inconvenience

Today is opening day in Lucasville for the 2026 Scioto County Fair. Each morning this week, Scioto County EMA will be sharing the specific forecast for the Lucasville Fairgrounds. This is in cooperation with the NWS in Wilmington, OH, who is monitoring Lucasville this week for any weather hazards that may arise.

Be sure to check here daily and share the "Fair Forecast" each day. Today is going to be a great day in Lucasville. No rain in today's forecast. Enjoy the fair today!
