💊 A GLP-1… IN A PILL? MEET FOUNDAYO™

You may have heard about injectable GLP-1 medications for weight management — but there’s now another option.

Foundayo™ (orforglipron) is a once-daily prescription GLP-1 pill for adults with obesity, or adults with overweight who also have a weight-related medical condition.

Unlike injectable GLP-1 medications, Foundayo is taken by mouth once a day — and it can be taken at any time of day, with or without food or water restrictions.

✨ What does it do?

Like other GLP-1 medications, Foundayo can help regulate appetite, decrease hunger and support weight loss when combined with nutrition and physical activity.

In a 72-week clinical trial of adults without diabetes, participants taking the highest studied dose lost an average of approximately 11% of their body weight.

Foundayo isn't appropriate for everyone, and GLP-1 medications can have side effects and important contraindications. Your healthcare provider can review your health history, medications and individual goals to determine whether medical weight management is appropriate for you.

💙 Weight management isn't one-size-fits-all — and having more treatment options means care can be more individualized.

Interested in learning whether a GLP-1 medication may be an option for you? Talk with your healthcare provider.

💧 OVERACTIVE BLADDER? THERE ARE OPTIONS BEYOND MEDICATION.

If you’re constantly looking for the nearest bathroom, waking up multiple times at night to urinate, or struggling with sudden urgency or leakage, Percutaneous Tibial Nerve Stimulation (PTNS) may be an option.

PTNS is a nonsurgical treatment performed right in the office that uses gentle nerve stimulation near the ankle to help improve communication between the nerves that control your bladder and your brain.

PTNS may help with:

💧 Urinary urgency
🚽 Frequent urination
🌙 Waking during the night to urinate
💦 Urgency-related leakage
✨ Certain bladder-emptying symptoms

Treatment is simple: a very thin needle is placed near the ankle and connected to a small stimulator for approximately 30 minutes.

Treatment is typically performed once a week for up to 12 weeks, followed by maintenance treatments, often about once a month.

And the results can be encouraging — 50–75% of patients may experience improvement in their urinary symptoms.

Bladder symptoms are common, but that doesn’t mean you have to simply live with them. Talk with your healthcare provider to find out whether PTNS may be an appropriate treatment option for you.

💙 HPV VACCINATION: CANCER PREVENTION STARTS HERE

HPV (human papillomavirus) is incredibly common — most sexually active people will be exposed to HPV at some point in their lives. While many infections clear on their own, certain types of HPV can lead to cervical and other cancers.

The good news? We have a vaccine that can help prevent them.

💉 The HPV vaccine is safe and highly effective at preventing HPV-related disease.

According to ACOG:

• HPV vaccination is ideally given at ages 11–12 and can begin as early as age 9.
• Vaccination is recommended through age 26 for those who have not been adequately vaccinated.
• Adults ages 27–45 who haven't been vaccinated may also benefit — talk with your healthcare provider about whether vaccination is right for you.
• Even if you've already been sexually active or exposed to HPV, vaccination may still protect against HPV types you haven't encountered.

And remember: HPV vaccination does not replace routine cervical cancer screening. Staying up to date with both vaccination and recommended screening gives you important tools for protecting your health.

Have questions about HPV or the vaccine? Talk with your healthcare provider at your next visit.

💙 Could It Be PCOS?

Polycystic O***y Syndrome (PCOS) is one of the most common hormone disorders affecting women of reproductive age, yet many women don't realize they have it. PCOS can affect much more than your menstrual cycle—it can also impact your overall health and fertility.

Common signs and symptoms may include:

💙 Irregular or missed periods

💙 Difficulty becoming pregnant

💙 Excess facial or body hair

💙 Acne that doesn't improve with typical treatments

💙 Weight gain or difficulty losing weight

💙 Thinning hair on the scalp

The good news is that PCOS is treatable. Healthy lifestyle changes, medications, and other therapies can help manage symptoms, regulate menstrual cycles, and reduce the risk of long term health conditions such as type 2 diabetes and heart disease.

If you're experiencing symptoms or have concerns about PCOS, talk with your OB/GYN. Early diagnosis and personalized treatment can make a meaningful difference in your health and well being.
