This summer I had both knees replaced, seven weeks apart. All in all it was a better experience than I anticipated in every aspect. The day surgeries were both as Dr. Parsons expected and much easier than I expected. I needed minimal pain management at home, I used the CPM and home PT was very helpful to get started being independent. Six weeks after knee #1 the physical therapist said i was progressing so well that knee #2 was starting to hamper my progress. Just in time, #2 was done the following week. I am now 3 months post surgery #2 and I feel great, my knees definitely function much better than before with no pain!
