Dr. Ancy Alford has a Bachelor’s degree for Biology and a minor in Psychology from the University at Albany, NY. She went on to receive her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Franklin Pierce University, NH in 2015.

Ancy has always been passionate in advocating for her patients and working to individualize their care. She recognizes that not every shoe fits and finds various avenues to help her patients reach their unique goals.

Ancy utilizes various treatment options, such as manual therapy, muscle energy techniques, therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular reeducation, and more, to optimize her patient’s physical therapy outcomes. Ancy is also a certified dry needling practitioner and always strives to keep up with the latest evidence based treatments through continuing education classes.

In her free time, she enjoys spending family time with her husband, 2 boys and 2 cats. She loves to travel, hike, do puzzles, paint, watch hockey, eat out, and watch superhero movies.

Melissa Kramer is a licensed physical therapist assistant with 25 years of experience in outpatient orthopedics. She graduated from Alvernia College located in Reading, PA with distinction in 2001.

Melissa has primarily treated orthopedic patients; however, she also has experience working in aquatic therapy, lymphedema management, cancer rehabilitation, breast cancer rehabilitation, work reintegration, body mechanics training/back education training, and sports medicine. In addition to being a physical therapist assistant, Melissa is also a certified strength and conditioning instructor. Melissa is passionate about providing the best possible care and customer service to all her patients.

Outside of the clinic, Melissa dedicates most of her time to her family and being a spectator at her daughters’ sporting events.

Dr. Kimberly Cox graduated from the University of Maryland at College Park with a B.S. in Kinesiology and earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. She further expanded her expertise in programming by becoming a certified personal trainer and a certified Pain-Free Performance Specialist (PPSC), allowing her to design physical therapy programs that seamlessly bridge rehabilitation and performance while keeping patient goals at the forefront. Kimberly values direct and focused patient care, combining hands-on manual techniques with individualized exercise and continuously updated, structured home programs to support each patient’s progress.

Kimberly has a diverse clinical background that includes neurological rehabilitation and orthopedic physical therapy. She has also worked with recreational and competitive athletes, allowing her to effectively treat a wide range of conditions and activity levels with a patient-centered approach. Born and raised in Montgomery County, she enjoys staying active through working out, playing softball, walking or hiking, exploring new local restaurants with her husband, and—of course—drinking bubble tea.

Adept Physical Therapy would like to announce our new therapist, Leanna Choo DPT.
Dr. Leanna Choo graduated from Saint Francis University with a B.S. in Health Sciences and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy. During her time at Saint Francis, she was also a member of their Division I women’s soccer program.

She enjoys working with diverse patient populations and focuses on providing direct, individualized care. Leanna combines skilled manual therapy with structured, progressive exercise programs to meet each patient’s unique needs. She is passionate about delivering high-quality care and empowering individuals to reach their fullest potential.

Leanna is a Montgomery County native. In her free time, she enjoys working out, reading, traveling, watching Formula 1, trying different cuisines, and spending time with her friends, family, and dog.
