On June 19th, Billy Joe Boyer’s All American Memorial Car Show & Cruise In will be held at the Washington County Courthouse!

Billy Joe would enjoy the ‘All American’ theme this year as America celebrates its first 250 years. Let’s hope for good weather!

The Friday evening cruise parade will be at 4 p.m. through Potosi and vehicles will be parked at the Washington County Courthouse and N. Mine, Breton and Clark Streets as needed. There will be several classes of cars, trucks, bikes with plaques for each class winner.

The evening will also feature music and vendors set up around the Courthouse, Town Square Park & Amphitheater Washington County parking lot and the Long-Banta House area.

Billy Joe’s Memorial Car Show was originally the Moses Austin Festival Car Show, but was renamed with the untimely passing of B.J. Boyer.

The annual Moses Austin Heritage Festival will begin with Billy Joe’s Car Show and then continue on Saturday, June 20th, 2026 in the downtown area around the Banta House, Towne Square Amphitheater and Heritage Park.

Some streets will be closed for vendor set up and there will be the traditional parade on Saturday morning, June 20th at 11 a.m.

This year the Festival will recognize area Veterans and active duty military personnel for their service. All Veterans are welcome and encouraged to attend.

The themes this year are ‘All American’ for Billy Joe’s Car Show and ‘America’s 1st 250!’ for the Moses Austin Heritage Festival, recognizing the history of our Country along with the mining and local history in the ‘Largest Lead District in the World’!
