Events like Swim a Mile are successful because of the people who make them happen. From the swimmers who dedicate their time to raising funds, to the family and friends cheering them on from the shore, to the lifeguards, safety boaters, and volunteers from local schools and businesses who help ensure a safe and successful event—every person plays an important role.

We are incredibly grateful for your support and continue to be amazed each year by the way our community comes together. Because of you, local families, friends, and neighbors have access to the expert end-of-life care, palliative care, and grief support they deserve. Thank you for making a difference!

It can be difficult to know what to say to someone who is grieving. Yes, there's a chance you'll make a mistake or say the wrong thing, but not acknowledging their grief can be hurtful, too.

Each of you helped raise awareness and support for the compassionate hospice, palliative care, and grief services that Hospice of St. Lawrence Valley provides to patients and families throughout our community.
