Schuylkill Center is hosting a Car Show on Sunday, June 28th- And we invite family and friends to showcase their cars, trucks, old motorcycles (or anything they'd like to bring)! Bree's Knees Coffee truck will also be on site serving up refreshments!

Residents of Schuylkill Center enjoyed crafting butterflies using watercolors and markers with water to tie dye coffee filters.
It was a fun and lighthearted day filled with crafts, music, laughter, relaxing on the porch, hanging flowers and listening to the birds.
Our residents love to keep busy- but they also love peaceful moments and fresh air.

Schuylkill Center spent Memorial Day honoring and remembering the soldiers who never made it home.
The day started with cooking class where residents made a flag fruit pizza and enjoyed sparkling cider. Each dining room had a special table for our missing soldiers. At 3pm, everyone participated in the National Moment of Silence in remembrance. The day ended with watching the movie Top Gun.
Blessed are we to be able to celebrate and remember those we honor.

Schuylkill Center hosted a Mother's Day tea event, (held the Saturday after Mother's Day) and it was a yellow and white "honeybee themed" event!
Everyone loves the mothers and grandmothers at Schuylkill Center so much. They have "adopted" the staff as their own children and grandchildren. They often ask staff how their families are doing and love seeing the kids when they come in.
Many laughs were shared, while enjoying music and delicious refreshments.
Everyone had the opportunity to try a new flavor of tea or stick with their favorite flavor! Coffee was also a delicious option. Every guest and resident took home a small goodie bag with hand cream, chap stick and a nail file.
Thank you to all the staff and family who helped make Mother's Day very special for all our ladies. Thank you for "BEEing" here!

It was "Animal Day" at Schuylkill Center and everyone enjoyed a fun petting zoo and dressing up in animal prints! The zoo had ducks, hens, a turtle and bunnies! What a fun day!

The team and residents of Schuylkill Center celebrated "Neon Day" with bright neon colors, light up bracelets and glow sticks for Nursing Home Week! Everyone enjoyed subs, salads and slushies as a special treat! Big thanks to Primo Hoagies for donating the delicious subs!
And we can't forget about the fun "GLOWING" hallway block party, where residents and employees danced along to their favorite tunes with glow sticks in hand! What a fun way to celebrate!

Schuylkill Center celebrated Nursing Home Week with a "Wacky Wednesday" theme! From crazy hair, to mix match outfits- everyone had a BLAST! The residents also enjoyed a super fun wheelchair car wash! Wednesday sure was wacky, but SO much fun!
