September already?? Well... I'm ready for it! Are you?? If I may say, September is COMPLETELY BOOKED already and I'm halfway booked through October... but I'm going to post my September specials anyway in case you see something you like and you'd like to change your current appointment to one of these. And keep your eyes open for our cancelations!! We post the second someone cancels (after we reach out to our clients on the cancelation list), and with all of that being said, please understand that I work 6 days a week, mostly 12 hour days. I want you to get in!!! Sometimes, I just can't make it happen. But I do try my best to get ya'll in as fast as I can. I'm beyond grateful to all of you for keeping me so busy!! I've said it from my very first day, I really do have the most amazing clients. So here it is, September and Fall specials! Our hearts are heavy as we hold the families, friends, and loved ones affected by the recent tragic accident in our community.

At Hillside Holistic Healing, we are deeply saddened to hear of the loss of such a young life and the pain that so many are experiencing right now. While we may not have known these teens personally, in a small town, we all feel the weight of a loss like this together.

We are keeping all those impacted in our thoughts and prayers and sending strength, comfort, and love during this incredibly difficult time.

Today we laid Donna to rest, and I don’t think I’ve ever witnessed a life so deeply loved. The stories shared, the people who showed up, and the impact she had on so many… it was truly something special. If you didn't know her, she was my instructor at McCann for massage therapy school. She literally taught me everything I know. Not just as a teacher, but as a woman, a mother, and a friend. She became almost a second mother to pretty much all of us "damn kids".

She is already so incredibly missed.

After the service, a few of her students turned friends, turned family and I spent some time together sharing memories, laughing, and yes… letting the margaritas flow a little. It felt good to remember her that way—surrounded by love, stories, and the kind of joy she brought into so many lives. Her passing brought us together, and we've made promises to stay close and get together more. I think all of us really wanted that for a long time, I know I did. She did that. That's who she was.

I also want to take a moment to sincerely thank my clients for being so understanding and gracious in rescheduling your appointments today so I could be there. It meant more to me than you know.

Hold your people a little closer tonight. Life is short, but love like hers leaves a mark that never fades. We love you Donna Bowen 💜💜
