A day at the ballpark, with a little wellness mixed in. ⚾

WMCHealth's MidHudson Regional Hospital teamed up with Canine Companions for a day of puppy love, free blood pressure checks, and wellness education at the Hudson Valley Renegades field.

From wagging tails to health screenings, it was community care at its best, and a reminder that looking out for your health can be fun too.

Thanks to everyone who stopped by. We hope to see you at the next one.

A reminder as we head into fall: annual women's wellness visits matter, and they're worth prioritizing.

These visits give patients a chance to build an ongoing relationship with their provider, ask questions in a low-pressure setting, and stay on top of preventive care before small concerns become bigger ones.

There is more misinformation about menopause than almost any other stage of a woman's life. And for decades, that misinformation has led women to dismiss symptoms, avoid treatment, and suffer unnecessarily.

Hearing the words "high-risk pregnancy" can raise a lot of questions. One of the most important things to understand: a high-risk designation isn't a prediction. It's your care team's cue to watch more closely.

Our Maternal Fetal Medicine team helps patients understand the six common reasons a pregnancy may be considered high-risk, and what to expect from their care team when it does.

WMCHealth is home to the Hudson Valley's only Level IV Regional Perinatal Center. When a pregnancy needs a closer level of care, our team is here.

🎆 5 Ways to Keep Your 4th Sparkling Safely
Fireworks are a Hudson Valley summer tradition, and a few simple precautions go a long way. Before you celebrate, keep these tips in mind:
- Skip personal fireworks and leave it to the professionals
- Double-check local rules, as even legal devices may be banned in your county
- Never relight a dud. Just soak it in water and dispose of it!
- Keep essentials close, like water, a fire extinguisher and a first-aid kit
- Let only responsible adults handle fireworks, and use eye and ear protection if you're nearby
