People ask me if I still love what I do after all these years... A story like this is the reason why I still do!

Today, a girl that had been suffering from a concussion from a fall 3 months ago came in... I was able to find the spot on her right neck by her occiput that felt like it had all her pain in it! I held it for 2 minutes and told her to imagine the brain fog leaving her body. As we breathed together, I felt my hand get heavy and electric. We both started sweating!! That's when I realized, I physically took her pain out of her and when I released, she literally wiped away tears.. she felt the relief!! I am blessed to be able to do that!

Medically speaking, a sudden shift from "fight or flight", after guarding the area for 3 months, to a deep relaxation state often causes an immediate autonomic reaction, which frequently includes a sudden flush of sweat or temperature change. By applying sustained pressure, and engaging in deep, synchronized breathing with my client, it naturally cranks up my own metabolic output and body heat. Holding this point and feeling it relax made my hands feel heavy as I took that energy out. This sudden relief caused her to let out tears.

This is WHY I love doing Therapeutic Massage! This is WHY I am a popular therapist and I decided to venture on my own. Most massages do not include this kind of intentional work and release. This is WHY I'm told that I'm Magical 💓
