Therapy sessions are important, but the greatest opportunities for growth happen during everyday moments at home, in the community, and throughout your child’s daily routines.

At P.E.A.S. Behavior Group, our parent training services are designed to empower caregivers with practical strategies that promote communication, independence, social skills, emotional regulation, and positive behavior change.

We don’t just work with children—we partner with families because lasting progress happens when everyone is working together like peas in a pod. 🫛

If we don’t understand WHY behavior happens… we can’t change it.

At P.E.A.S. Behavior Group, we don’t just look at behavior—we identify the function behind it.

👀 ATTENTION
“Look at me!”
Behavior happens to get a reaction from others.

🚪 ESCAPE
“I don’t want to do this.”
Behavior helps avoid or get out of something.

🎁 TANGIBLE
“I want that!”
Behavior is used to gain access to an item or activity.

💫 SENSORY (Automatic)
“This feels good to me.”
Behavior is internally reinforcing—no one else needed.

🔑 Why this matters:
Behavior is communication.
Not “bad behavior”—just a child saying:
👉 “I need something and don’t know how to say it yet.”
