June’s Morning Pointe in Motion destination virtually takes residents to Bangkok, Thailand, where vibrant street food, bold flavors, and cultural experiences inspire this month’s activities and tastings. Pad Thai, themed experiences, and opportunities to learn about a different part of the world will all be part of the journey.

Morning Pointe in Motion continues to give residents meaningful ways to explore new places, try something different, and share experiences together without ever leaving the community.

Some friendships have been growing right alongside our community. 💜☀️

One of our favorite volunteers, Kynlee, is back for another summer, and residents couldn't be happier to see her. She has volunteered with us every summer since we opened, creating special bonds and becoming a familiar face that residents look forward to each year.

It's been a joy watching Kynlee grow up while she spends time sharing smiles, conversations, and fun with our residents. We're so grateful she continues to make The Lantern at Morning Pointe of Powell part of her summer. 😊

From the timing of activities to the pacing of the schedule, our Meaningful Day™ program is thoughtfully designed around what we know helps individuals living with Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia feel more successful, comfortable, and engaged.

Rather than filling a calendar with activities, we focus on creating a rhythm to the day that supports residents' abilities, encourages participation, and helps make each day feel purposeful.

Community partnerships help make Morning Pointe Seniors Got Talent possible, and we're grateful for the support of Care Around The Block - CAB! 💙🎤

Members of our Knoxville-area Community Relations team recently stopped by to personally thank Care Around the Block for supporting the 2025 Morning Pointe Seniors Got Talent season. Their partnership helped celebrate the talents of local seniors while supporting the mission of the Morning Pointe Foundation.

Through caregiver education programs and scholarships in nursing, culinary arts, social work, and therapy, the Foundation works alongside school partners across the Southeast to advance senior care and help grow the future workforce.

We're thankful for organizations like Care Around the Block that help make this important work possible, and we look forward to another exciting season ahead!

Community support makes a difference. 🚗💙 We are so grateful to Affordable Car Care LLC for their generous donation to the Morning Pointe Foundation and its mission of providing caregiver education programs and scholarships in nursing, culinary, social work, and therapy through our school partners across the Southeast, all to advance the care of seniors and grow the future workforce.

Residents are excitedly helping prepare for our Father's Day Car Show on June 16, which will help raise additional funds for the Foundation. Larry was especially eager to lend a hand! Thank you to everyone who has donated, participated, and supported this effort. We can't wait for a great event.
