Over the past year, many of you have experienced BrainTap in the office and asked about getting a headset for home use.

I currently have 3 brand-new BrainTap headsets available at a significant discount before I return the remaining inventory.

These headsets normally retail for $797 through BrainTap.
I’m offering mine for $550 each.

If you’re not familiar with BrainTap, it combines guided audio, gentle light stimulation, and brainwave entrainment technology to help calm the nervous system and support:

✨ better sleep
✨ reduced stress and overwhelm
✨ improved focus and mental clarity
✨ nervous system regulation
✨ relaxation without “trying” to relax

Many people tell me it feels like their body can finally exhale.

I especially love it for people who feel “wired but tired,” overstimulated, stuck in stress mode, or simply unable to settle their brain at night.

The headset works with the BrainTap app (subscription through BrainTap sold separately).

These are first come, first served, and once they’re gone, they’re gone.

If you’d like one, simply reply to this post or message the office at (608) 635-8915.

What if your plantar fascia is trying to protect you?

That sounds strange at first.

Most advice for plantar fascia pain sounds something like:

Stretch it.
Roll it.
Ice it.
Buy inserts.
Wear better shoes.

Sometimes those things help.

But what if your painful foot isn’t the whole story?

Your brain is incredibly smart.

Every second, it’s tracking millions of pieces of information to keep you safe.

It monitors breathing.
Balance.
Movement.
The position of your feet.

And yes… it’s paying attention to whether walking feels safe.

Your body is connected through long fascial chains:

Feet → calves → hips → pelvis → ribs → shoulders → neck

I often see people focused on foot pain…

…and discover they haven’t taken a full breath in years.

Or their ribs barely move.

Or one hip has quietly carried more load for a long time.

The body adapts.

That’s what bodies do.

But after enough time, adaptation can become tension.
Tension can become protection.
Protection can become pain.

And if you’ve ever had plantar fascia pain, you know how quickly it becomes a whole-body issue:

You limp.
You compensate.
You move differently.
You start scanning the ground for uneven spots or icy patches.

Your nervous system learns.

This is one reason I’m teaching a small hands-on workshop about plantar fascia and whole-body tension patterns.

Not because I think everyone needs more stretches.

Because I think many people need a different understanding.

We’ll explore:

• Why plantar fascia pain can persist
• How the body compensates
• Fascial connections through the whole body
• The brain’s threat/protection system
• Simple ways to reduce threat and support healing

If your foot hurts…

what else in your body feels tight?

05/17/2026

I’m thinking about offering a new small-group workshop that combines RockTape + fascia + movement + nervous system awareness… and I’d love your input.

This would NOT be one of those super-athletic “how to tape for sports performance” classes.

Instead, it would focus on:
✨ plantar fascia + foot tension
✨ calves, hips, ribs, neck & shoulders
✨ the body’s fascial tension chain (DFKC)
✨ simple ways to use RockTape as a sensory cue
✨ gentle “unwinding” movements to help the body soften and move more easily

One of the biggest things I see is that people keep trying to stretch or treat the SAME painful area over and over… when the tension pattern is actually running through the whole body.

So this workshop would be hands-on, practical, interactive, and small enough that everyone gets individual guidance.

I’m considering a few different dates/times and would love to know what works best for people before I officially schedule it.
Possible workshop times:
• Tues June 2 — 6 PM
• Wed June 3 — 6 PM
• Tues June 16 — 6 PM
• Wed June 17 — 6 PM
• Thurs June 18 — 6 PM
• Sat June 20 — 10 AM

Know someone who's curious about chiropractic - but nervous about getting "cracked"?

Care at Hall Chiropractic is different.

It's not about forcing or manipulating the spine. There's no cracking or popping. I use a tonal, low-force approach that works WITH the body - not TO the body.

So if someone says:
"I'd go to a chiropractor, but I don't want to get twisted around."
or
"I'm scared of getting adjusted."
or
"Is chiropractic just cracking your back? I can do that myself."

You can tell them:
"Actually, Dr. Angela doesn't do that. It's gentle -there's no cracking or twisting. She tunes in to what my body needs and makes precise adjustments that help my body feel and function better. And I'm not sore afterward."

Yep. Totally different than what most people expect.

Sometimes the body changes best when it feels safe enough to stop guarding.

What if the armor didn’t have to stay on forever?

What if your body could remember what it feels like to:
• breathe without holding it in
• move without stiffness and guarding
• wake up without feeling braced for the day

Most people don’t realize how much tension they’re carrying.

Not because they’re doing something wrong.
Because their body quietly learned to protect itself through hard seasons.

Over time, that protection can start to feel like:
tight shoulders
a ribcage that barely moves
shallow breathing
a body that feels older than it should

The good news is that those patterns can unwind.

That’s exactly why I created The Unwinding Guidebook — a simple way to start releasing the stress patterns the body has been holding.

No forcing.
No pushing through pain.
Just learning how to help the body soften and move again.

If you recognized yourself in this… your body is probably ready to unwind.

Here’s the strange thing about armor.

People often worry that if it comes off…
they’ll fall apart.

That everything they’ve been holding together will turn to goo.

But that’s rarely what happens.

More often what appears is:
• easier breathing
• movement that feels fluid again
• emotions that move instead of getting stuck
• a body that doesn’t feel like it’s fighting itself

Underneath the armor is usually something much simpler.

A body that just needed safety and space to unwind.

One of the first things armor takes away is breathing.

Not completely.

Just enough that it becomes small.

Careful.

Contained.

Because sometimes a deep breath feels risky.

A deep breath can turn into a sigh.

A sigh can open the door to feelings.

And when someone has spent years holding it all together…

The body learns to stay quiet.
Tiny breaths.
Minimal movement.
Maximum control.

But the body was never designed to live that way.

It was designed to expand, soften, and move freely.

And sometimes it just needs permission to remember how.
