Shawnee Mission School District offers a Certified Nursing Assistant Program. The Students start off the program with a visit to the Health Center at Claridge Court. This experience gives them the opportunity to meet residents, build confidence, and see the individuality, independence, and abilities each person brings.

Great CNAs do more than provide care—they build connections, show respect, and see the person behind the care. 🩷

🍀 Travelogue to Ireland
Residents enjoyed a wonderful journey to the Emerald Isle during our Travelogue to Ireland, presented by Zoe, a lead cook in the kitchen. ✈️☘️

Zoe shared her experiences and gave residents a glimpse into the beauty, history, culture, and traditions of Ireland.

The journey was followed by Guinness and a delicious selection of Irish treats, making it a festive and memorable afternoon! 🍺🍪💚

Residents experienced Atlas 9, KC’s new narrative-driven immersive art exhibit!

If you’re in the Kansas City area, this is definitely a place to check out. The immersive experience brings art and storytelling together in a unique way you won’t want to miss!

While the kids are all making their way back to school, some of them had one last summer hooray at Claridge Court! Volleyball is a favorite among the residents, kids, grands and great grands! There were all ages, ranging from 102years, all the way down to 3 years, and everything in between!

Atlas 9 is a must see in Kansas City if you haven’t been! Residents enjoyed being immersed in the 90s theatre with many tricks and twists along the way. It is definitely an experience you don’t want to miss!
