💙 A Little Appreciation Goes a Long Way! 💙

Our PRMC Endoscopy team enjoyed a sweet surprise this morning! 🧋 A grateful patient treated the team to loaded teas from Harvest 54 Nutrition, bringing a little extra joy to their day.

We are so thankful for patients who take the time to show appreciation for our team. These thoughtful gestures remind us that kindness goes both ways, and we are grateful to be part of a community that cares!

Dr. Alec Hampton was born and raised in Pratt, Kansas. He completed his undergraduate education at Newman University and his master's degree in biomedical sciences at Kansas City University College of Biosciences. He obtained his medical degree at Kansas City University College of Osteopathic Medicine. His residency training was at Via Christi Family Medicine in Wichita, where he also obtained a distinction of advanced Osteopathic training.

He is passionate about rural family medicine, which includes taking care of expectant mothers, delivering babies, and caring for patients of all ages, from newborns to the elderly. His interests also include assisting patients with weight management and diabetes prevention, creating sustainable solutions for long-term health, and Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Hampton enjoys spending time with family. He is married to Kylie Hampton, M.D., and together they have three children: Gianna, Elijah, and Xavier. They are members of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Some of his hobbies include board games, gardening, tinkering, and hiking or camping.

While we are still working on the credentialing process, we are excited to announce that Dr Alec is seeing patients. Please help us give a warm welcome back to Pratt, and the PFP family! 🎉

❤️ Celebrating Our Emergency Room Nurses!

It is National Emergency Nurses Week! We are thankful for our incredible ER nurses who care for our patients during some of their most unexpected and difficult moments.

Emergency nursing takes skill, compassion, quick thinking and the ability to stay calm when every second counts. PRMC’s ER nurses show up ready to care for others, support their teammates and make a difference for patients and families when they need it most.

To PRMC ER nurses: Thank you for the knowledge you bring, the compassion you show and the dedication you give to our patients and our community, day after day, shift after shift. We are grateful for each of you and the important role you play in keeping our community healthy and safe.

🌟 Celebrating National Case Management Week! 🌟

This National Case Management Week, we’re recognizing and thanking our PRMC Case Managers, Bobbi Sipes and Arcelia Marques, for the important role they play in supporting our patients, families, and hospital team!

Bobbi and Arcelia help coordinate care, navigate complex patient needs, collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals, and plan for safe, appropriate transitions from the hospital to the next level of care. They help connect patients with resources, work through barriers to discharge, and ensure the details of each patient’s care plan are thoughtfully addressed.

Their work requires compassion, communication, problem-solving, and teamwork. By helping coordinate care behind the scenes, our Case Managers support better patient experiences and help our entire hospital team deliver quality care.

SECOND AMENDED PUBLIC NOTICE: REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS

RFQ No. PRMC-2026-EQUIP-01 · Nineteen Separate Equipment and Supply Lots

PROCUREMENT REOPENED. This notice amends the notice published October 1, 2026. Earlier this month, Pratt Regional Medical Center notified vendors that the grant funding for these purchases was no longer available. That funding has been reinstated. The Request for Quotations is reopened for all nineteen lots, and PRMC is requesting quotations. The written-question and quotation due dates are revised below. The lots are unchanged. Quotations already received remain on file and may be replaced by the due date.

Pratt Regional Medical Center (Pratt, Kansas) requests written price quotations for the following nineteen (19) lots of medical equipment and supplies, each including delivery and, where noted, installation or in-service. Each lot is a separate purchase: it is quoted, evaluated, and awarded independently. Vendors may quote any one lot or several. PRMC will not make a combined-total award across lots.

Lot 11. Automated Endoscope Reprocessor (incl. installation)
Lot 12. Shoulder Instrument Trays (4)
Lot 13. Beach Chair Surgical Positioning System (incl. support arm)
Lot 14. Ambulatory Reflux pH Monitoring System
Lot 15. Laparoscopic & Shoulder Instrument Set (complete set)

Specifications and quote instructions for any lot are available at no cost upon request from Kayley Cook, Grant Manager, [email protected], 620-450-1200. Written questions are due to Kayley Cook by Monday, October 19, 2026, 12:00 noon Central; answers are provided to every vendor that has requested specifications for that lot. Quotations are due by Friday, October 23, 2026, 12:00 noon Central. These dates replace the dates in the prior notices. Quotes received in response to this notice are considered alongside directly solicited quotes for each lot.

These purchases are federally funded and subject to the procurement standards of 2 CFR Part 200. Small businesses, minority businesses, women’s business enterprises, veteran-owned businesses, and labor surplus area firms are encouraged to request specifications and quote; PRMC affirmatively solicits quotations from qualified firms in these categories per 2 CFR 200.321. PRMC applies the domestic-content preference of 2 CFR 200.322 to the greatest extent practicable. PRMC reserves the right to reject any or all quotations and to award each lot independently.

Please join us in congratulating Aggie Nickelson, RN, Family Birth Suites Manager at Pratt Regional Medical Center, on completing the Kansas Hospital Association (KHA) Leadership Institute!

Aggie was selected by PRMC Leadership to represent our organization in this leadership development program. The KHA Leadership Institute brings together emerging health care leaders from across Kansas to strengthen leadership skills, encourage innovation and prepare the next generation of leaders in Kansas hospitals.

Over the course of six courses, Aggie expanded her leadership skills in areas including communication, team building, conflict management, organizational culture and the challenges facing health care today.
