Yavapai County COAD Is comprised of community, faith-based, and government organizations that provide disaster support.

When a disaster occurs, neighbors and community organizations are often eager to help. The Yavapai County COAD is an organization formed to improve awareness of the needs of the community and connect the capabilities of community partners with those needs during all stages of an event. The Yavapai County COAD hopes to provide opportunities for community organizations to get involved to make the community and its members safer and more prepared for threats of disasters of all kinds.

📢 Help Us Reach 1,000 Vulnerable Residents Across Yavapai County!

The Yavapai County Office of Emergency Management (YCOEM) is bringing community partners together to assemble 1,000 resource bags for distribution through Meals on Wheels and other local organizations serving vulnerable populations.

đź“… Date: Wednesday, August 5, 2026
⏰ Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
📍 Location: 1100 Commerce Drive, Prescott, AZ 86305

How can your organization participate?

âś… Provide 1,000 copies of informational materials, flyers, or resources to include in the bags
âś… Send one or two volunteers to help assemble the bags
âś… Share preparedness, safety, health, or community resource information that can benefit residents

Can't send volunteers? No problem! Materials can be dropped off at YCOEM by August 1, 2026.

This is a great opportunity to place valuable information directly into the hands of community members who may have limited access to services and resources.

Together, we can strengthen preparedness, awareness, and resilience throughout Yavapai County.
