Aloha from Alta Vista!

Our Annual Alta Vista Luau brought a little taste of the islands to our community! Residents, families, and team members came together for a wonderful time filled with delicious food, tropical fun, laughter, and plenty of aloha spirit.

We love traditions like our annual luau that give everyone a chance to relax, have fun, and make special memories together.

There's nothing better than hearing how much our residents enjoy dining at Alta Vista! Our Culinary Team puts their heart into every meal, and we're so grateful for the kind words they receive. Here are just a few of the wonderful compliments shared by our residents.

"The roasted chicken dinner was delicious. I substituted the stuffing & cornbread with broccoli and carrots and creamy whipped potatoes. They were yummy."

"OMG!! My mouth is totally in love with the pork, charro bean, tomato lunch Chef Robert prepared and served for lunch in BV yesterday!! Please move it to "regularly served" immediately!"

"Anna J is always working diligently and never really complaining-doing her job professionally and capably."

At Alta Vista Senior Living, we believe that strong communities are built by supporting one another.

We're proud to partner with Lake Valley Elementary School, our adopted school, by helping provide much-needed nurse supplies as students head back for a new school year.

The legacy of the Granite Mountain Hotshots continues to burn as brightly as the courage they showed on that fateful day.

Nineteen extraordinary firefighters answered the call to protect others, putting service above self and demonstrating what true heroism looks like. Their sacrifice reminds us that some heroes don't wear capes—they wear fire-resistant gear and carry the weight of protecting lives, homes, and communities.

Today, we honor their memory, celebrate their bravery, and remember the families, friends, and fellow firefighters who carry their legacy forward every day.

May we never forget their names, their service, or the incredible bond they shared.

Their watch ended, but their legacy lives on in every act of courage and every life dedicated to serving others.
