LỄ TƯỞNG NIỆM TỔ JIGTEN SUMGÖN

𝐉𝐢𝐠𝐭𝐞𝐧 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐠𝐨̈𝐧 hay còn gọi là 𝐉𝐢𝐠𝐭𝐞𝐧 𝐆𝐨̈𝐧𝐩𝐨 འཇིག་རྟེན་གསུམ་མགོན (1143–1217) là vị khai lập ra dòng truyền thừa Drikung Kagyu, một trong tám nhánh Kagyu của Phật giáo Tây Tạng. Ngài sinh ra trong một gia tộc nổi danh có tên là Kyura (được tương truyền là dòng dõi từ cõi Trời) tại vùng Kham. Cha của Ngài là một hành giả Yamantaka vĩ đại và cụ nội của Ngài là Đức Bà Achi Chökyi Drölma, cũng là vị Đại Hộ Pháp trí tuệ của dòng truyền thừa Drikung Kagyu.
Với dòng tái sinh của Garchen Rinpoche, trong những đời quá khứ, Garchen Rinpoche có mối liên kết tâm linh sâu sắc là học trò của Tổ Jigten Sumgön. Từ thời quá khứ, người Thầy là Nagarjuna còn học trò là Aryadeva. Khi Jigten Sumgön xuất hiện, người học trò đó là Gar Chödingpa. Nhân duyên sâu dày giữa hai người quả thật không thể nghĩ bàn.
Chính bản thân Kyabje Garchen Rinpoche đời này khi còn là một cậu bé 7 tuổi, được đưa về Tu viện để đăng quang, đã chỉ vào tôn tượng của Tổ Jigten Sumgön và khẳng định rằng: "Đây là Thầy của ta!" khi được hỏi ai là vị Đạo Sư của Ngài.
Phật học viện Garchen kính mời quý vị tham gia Lễ Tưởng Niệm Tổ Jigten Sumgön với sự chủ trì của Kyabje Garchen Rinpoche và Tăng đoàn Gar. Trong ngày đặc biệt này, Tăng đoàn sẽ cử hành nghi lễ 𝐋𝐚𝐦𝐚 𝐂𝐡𝐨𝐩𝐚 (Cúng Dường Đạo Sư) dâng lên Đức Kyobpa Jigten Sumgön.

THE COMMEMORATION OF LORD JIGTEN SUMGÖN
𝐉𝐢𝐠𝐭𝐞𝐧 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐠𝐨̈𝐧, also known as 𝐉𝐢𝐠𝐭𝐞𝐧 𝐆𝐨̈𝐧𝐩𝐨 (1143–1217), is the revered founder of the Drikung Kagyu lineage, one of the eight sub-schools of the Kagyu tradition of Tibetan Buddhism. He was born into the illustrious Kyura clan - historically believed to be of divine descent - in the Kham region. His father was a great Yamantaka practitioner, and his great-grandmother was none other than Achi Chökyi Drölma, the supreme wisdom Dharma Protector of the Drikung Kagyu lineage.
Throughout the successive incarnations of Kyabje Garchen Rinpoche, there exists a profound and unshakeable spiritual bond with Lord Jigten Sumgön. In lives past, when the Master appeared as Arya Nagarjuna, his chief disciple was Aryadeva. Later, when the Master manifested as Lord Jigten Sumgön, that very disciple was none other than Gar Chödingpa. The sacred karmic connection between them is truly inconceivable.
Indeed, during this present lifetime, when Kyabje Garchen Rinpoche was just a seven-year-old boy brought to the monastery for his enthronement, he was asked to identify his Guru. The young Rinpoche instantly pointed directly to a statue of Lord Jigten Sumgön and declared: "This is my Master!"
The Garchen Buddhist Institute cordially invites you to join the Memorial Puja for Lord Jigten Sumgön, presided over by Kyabje Garchen Rinpoche and the Gar Sangha. On this auspicious day, the Gar Sangha will perform the sacred 𝐋𝐚𝐦𝐚 𝐂𝐡𝐨𝐩𝐚 (Guru Offering) ritual dedicated to Kyobpa Jigten Sumgön.
