And then we’re off. We’ll walk. We’ll run. Five kilometers will fly by in what feels like an instant.

Quality isn’t always something you can see. But you can feel its impact.

CalvertHealth was recently recognized by Becker’s as having one of the lowest rates of catheter-associated urinary tract infections (CAUTIs) in the nation — and one of just eight hospitals in Maryland to earn this distinction.

Why does that matter? Because preventing infections is an important part of keeping our patients safe. It may not be the kind of healthcare quality measure people talk about around the dinner table — but it’s exactly the kind that matters when you or someone you love need hospital care.
