New Jersey’s efforts to improve quality and patient safety are showcased at this week’s Quality Conference in Baltimore, hosted by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. NJHA participated in a panel discussion on New Jersey’s efforts to reduce disparities in hospital readmissions. In addition, the work of NJHA’s Institute for Quality and Patient Safety was featured in three research posters detailing New Jersey’s experiences in protecting children from unnecessary levels of radiation and promoting antimicrobial stewardship.
