That first tiny tooth comes with a lot of questions. 🦷

Here are 7 important facts every parent should know about baby teeth:

✔️ Most babies get their first tooth between 6–12 months
✔️ Fluoride helps protect developing teeth
✔️ Cold teething rings and washcloths can help soothe sore gums
✔️ Skip teething gels, tablets, and amber necklaces
✔️ Brush twice a day using a rice-sized smear of fluoride toothpaste
✔️ Talk with your pediatrician about when to schedule your child's first dental visit

Healthy dental habits start early and help protect those little smiles for years to come.

Bedtime battles getting a little louder lately? 🌙😴

Healthy sleep plays an important role in helping children grow, learn, and stay emotionally balanced. A consistent bedtime routine gives the body and mind time to wind down and prepare for restful sleep.

A few simple habits can make a big difference:

📚 Reading together before bed
⏰ Keeping a consistent bedtime
🛏️ Creating a calm, screen-free sleep environment

If your child snores loudly, has trouble falling asleep, or seems unusually tired during the day, it may be time to talk with your pediatrician.

To all the wonderful families and patients at PNP,

With a heavy heart I am writing to inform you that I will be leaving Princeton Nassau Pediatrics. For a multitude of reasons, I have accepted a role as the Medical Director of a health center at a boarding school in New England. It is not a decision I made lightly but it is the best decision for my family.

It has been an incredible privilege to serve you and your family for the past seven years. I appreciate you entrusting me with your children. It truly means the world to me. I hold the utmost respect for my colleagues at PNP and I know that all of my patients will receive the very best medical care by other PNP physicians.

Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your children’s lives. I will miss all of my patients immensely and I wish you all the best.

With deepest appreciation,
Dr. Kate Doyle

The way you interact with your baby each day helps shape how they learn, think, and connect. 👶

Simple, screen free habits can support early learning and build the foundation for future milestones.

👶 Read together every day
👶 Talk, sing, and play often
👶 Keep simple daily routines
👶 Praise small efforts and progress
👶 Build strong, consistent connection

These small moments throughout the day help your baby develop language, confidence, and curiosity.
