Toddlers are curious, energetic, and learning something new every day. A few simple parenting habits can make everyday moments a little easier.

πŸ“ Stay consistent with rules and routines.
πŸ“ Keep your home safe for curious explorers.
πŸ“ Set age-appropriate expectations.
πŸ“ Give your child a little warning before transitions.
πŸ“ Teach instead of simply saying "no."
πŸ“ Praise specific behaviors and encourage independence.
πŸ“ Stay calm during challenging moments, and make time to play together every day.

Small, consistent steps can help build confidence, encourage positive behavior, and strengthen your relationship with your child.

Why does my baby keep getting diaper rashes? 🧷

Frequent diaper rashes can be frustrating, especially when you're already doing your best to keep your baby's skin clean and dry.

Sometimes the cause may be related to antibiotics, changes in diet after starting solid foods, a new brand of diapers or wipes, cloth diaper washing routines, or even diapers that fit a little too snugly.

Understanding what may be contributing to diaper rash can help you make small changes that keep your baby more comfortable.

Summer brings more time outside, which also means more sun exposure for kids. β˜€οΈ

Protecting your child's skin goes beyond applying sunscreen. Choosing the right sunscreen, knowing when to reapply it, finding shade during peak sun hours, and keeping babies protected from direct sunlight all play an important role in sun safety.

Our Sun Safety Guide includes practical tips for infants, children, and the whole family to help make outdoor time safer this summer.

That pacifier seems to have become part of the family. 🧸

Pacifiers, thumb sucking, and finger sucking are all common ways babies and young children comfort themselves. In most cases, these habits are a normal part of development and often fade with time.

🍼 Pacifiers can help soothe babies and support sleep.
🍼 Wait until breastfeeding is well established before introducing a pacifier.
🍼 Avoid using a pacifier to replace feedings.
🍼 Most children stop thumb and finger sucking on their own.
🍼 Talk with your pediatrician if the habit continues as permanent teeth begin to come in.

A little patience goes a long way. Most children outgrow these habits naturally as they get older.

Those tiny fingernails seem to grow faster than you can keep up with. πŸ‘Ά

Keeping your baby's nails trimmed can help prevent accidental scratches, especially during the newborn months when little hands are constantly moving.

Many parents find nail trimming a bit intimidating at first, but a few simple tips can help. Try trimming nails while your baby is sleeping, gently hold the fingertip away from the nail, and smooth any rough edges with a nail file.

Like many parts of parenting, it gets easier with practice.
